Beverly “Bev” Jane Armocido, 72, of Colusa passed away on January 6, 2019. She was born in Billings, Montana on October 27, 1946 to Virginia May and Wayne C.Hoblit. Bev was a social person and loved people! She was a life member of Omega Nu. She worked at Chick Montgomery’s while raising her children and then as a paraeducator for Colusa County Office of Education. For the past 25 years, she was the smiling face you would first see when walking into Hoblit Motors. Bev was efficient at her job without ever using a computer. All she needed was a phone, paper and pen! Bev enjoyed her morning coffee group, monthly Bunco group, watching football and golf and travelling...Las Vegas was a favorite destination! She also enjoyed spending time going on road trips with their hot rod buddies. Bev is survived by her husband of 17 years, Richard “Dick” Armocido, brother David (Beth) Hoblit, daughters Kimberlee Zwald (Richard Butler), Lindee (George) Hulbert, son Ryan Myers, and step-daughter Lori (Steve) Lawrence. She was lovingly known as “Gigi” by her grandsons Blake Zwald and Branden Woodring along with numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Virginia and Wayne Hoblit and ex-husband Jerry Myers. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 19, 2019 in the Colusa Casino Wellness Gymnasium on Highway 45 at 10:00 a.m. Donations can be made to Salvation Army, Omega Nu Scholarship Fund, or Colusa Redhawk Foundation.
