Colleen Manor of Williams, passed away March 2, 2020. Barbara Colleen Hurt was born to Joseph and Irma (nee Goforth) on June 15, 1924. In 1938, the family relocated to Williams where Colleen graduated from Williams High School. Colleen married Lewis Glen Manor in 1946 and they had had been married 46 years at the time of Glen’s death in 1992. Colleen worked as a receptionist for Dr. McCarl in Williams for 50 years. She enjoyed writing, music, her grandchildren, her church activities and was quite politically verbal. She was an avid reader and took more than an interest in her family history.
Colleen lost her son Richard Joseph Manor in 1971. She is survived by her sons, Lewis (Nancy) Manor of Colusa and William Manor of Williams. She also leaves an astounding legacy of 11 grandchildren, Owen, Lauren, Bryan,Nathan, Jonathan, Adrienne, Justin, Lincoln, Kathleen, Kara, and Glen; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial is to be private at Williams Cemetery with a Celebration of Colleen’s Life to be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 11:00 a.m., at the Neighborhood Church, 606 12th St, Williams, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Neighborhood Church or the charity of your choice.
