Deborah Lynn Zumwalt “Grandma Debbie” resident of Colusa, passed away on March 23, 2018. She was born in Spokane, Washington on August 21, 1953 to Dean and Dolly Morton.
Debbie enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren. Among all of the activities, she especially loved watching them ride horses. Debbie was a big supporter of the CHSRA (high school Rodeo), spending many hours spectating. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, and was a history buff. She received a Bachelor’s Degree for history. Debbie was always up for an adventure, no matter what it was. It was very rare that she would decline an opportunity.
Debbie is survived by her husband Braly Zumwalt, daughter; Tasha (Jeff) Wilson of Sutter, son; Randy (Cherie) Mosley of Terre Haute, IN, sister; Peggy (Mike) McElhaney of Cottage Grove, OR, brother; Jeff Morton of Williston, ND, grandchildren; Jessica Wilson, Aundrea Mosley, Nathan Mosley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Dean and Dolly Morton.
Visitation will be held at 5p.m.-8p.m. on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at the McNary-Moore Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 12:00p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Colusa. Private family committal at the Sutter Cemetery.
