Wayne Hoblit, 95, of Lincoln passed away on December 28, 2018. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on February 23, 1923 to Morley and Genevieve Hoblit.
Wayne was a member and former president of the Colusa Rotary Club, a founding committee member of building the Colusa Golf Course where he was a former president, along with founding the Colusa Airport, State Park, Racquet Club, and a member of the Ford National Dealer Council. Wayne loved flying and spending time with his loved ones.
Wayne is survived by his partner Bonnie Grussenmeyer, daughter; Beverly (Dick) Armocido of Colusa, son; David (Beth) Hoblit of Lincoln, sister in law; Marilyn Hoblit of Las Vegas, grandchildren; Kimberly, Lindee, Ryan, Chris, Chad, Kevin, Whitney, Jarrod, Lauren, great-grandchildren; Brandon, Blake, Mason, Reagann, Owen, Allie, Rose, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years Virginia Hoblit, and brother; Clair Hoblit.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the McNary-Moore Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00p.m. On January 4, 2019 at the Colusa Golf Club 2224 State Highway 20, Colusa, CA 95932.
