The family of Wayne H Marsh are deeply saddened to announce his passing on October 11, 2020 at the age of 80.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Darlene Marsh of Cloverdale, his children, Debbie Marsh of San Antonio, Wayne Marsh and Melissa, Michael Marsh of Colorado Springs and Cindy Sites of Maxwell. He leaves a legacy of numerous grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Wayne was born in Kiowa, Kansas to George and Joyce Marsh on June 18, 1940. He moved to Colusa County in 1945 and made it his home until 1983. He was in Law Enforcement for many years, serving the public in various positions including the Department of Fish and Game. He and his family owned a Chevron Mini-Mart in Chester, CA for 10 years and his most recent residence was Cloverdale for the past 13-years.
Wayne served in the United States Air Force, enlisting after attending Colusa schools. He was an avid fisherman and duck hunter and was a sports fan favoring the 49ers, Kings and the Warriors.
In light of the Covid-19 situation the family is not having formal services at this time, preferring to wait until a later date to Celebrate Wayne’s Life.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions to Shriner’s Hospital or St. Jude’s are appreciated.
